An Enduring Legacy
This journey, after some time, is transformed from a personal adventure to something of a family tradition. Now, one of the members, however close or far, joins in on this constantly changing scrapbook and map. It hangs proudly in my dad’s study with numerous pins marking the places we have been to and want to go to. It’s no longer about geography; it’s about a map with memories, connecting persons and their stories with generations.
I sit in my grandfather’s old armchair, flipping through his journals, to realize that indeed, his spirit lives on-not in the pages he left behind but in the way we’ve chosen to live. His sense of adventure and his curiosity have become a guiding compass for us all. We know not what tomorrow will bring, but we do know how to take it-with open hearts and with the courage to chase after every moment worth living.
